Cookie Policy

Understanding how we use cookies and tracking technologies.

Effective 09 May 2026

1

Introduction

This Cookie Policy explains how NORRA Technologies Limited (“NORRA,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) uses cookies, web beacons, pixel tags, mobile analytics SDKs, and other similar tracking technologies (“cookies”) on our website (norra.africa) and mobile application.

We use cookies to make NORRA work, to understand how you use our services, and to provide you with a personalised experience. This policy tells you exactly what we use, why, and how you can control it.

This Cookie Policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

2

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, tablet, or smartphone) when you visit a website or use an application. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and to provide information to website owners.

In our mobile application, we use similar technologies including mobile SDKs, device identifiers, and local storage, which function in the same way as cookies and are covered by this policy.

2.1 Types by Duration

  • Session cookies — temporary cookies that expire when you close your browser or app. They are used to enable basic platform functionality during your visit.
  • Persistent cookies — cookies that remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them. They remember your preferences and settings between sessions.

2.2 Types by Origin

  • First-party cookies — set directly by NORRA from our own domains.
  • Third-party cookies — set by our trusted service providers and partners.
3

Categories of Cookies We Use

3.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are essential to the operation of NORRA and cannot be switched off. They do not require your consent.

  • Track which features are used most frequently
  • Identify technical errors and performance issues

Examples of what they do:

  • Remember your notification preferences
  • Store your preferred units of measurement (kg/lbs, Celsius/Fahrenheit)

3.4 Marketing and Communications Cookies

Purpose: These cookies are used to measure the effectiveness of our communications and, where you have given consent, to show you relevant information about NORRA on third-party platforms.

Examples of what they do:

  • Measure the effectiveness of paid digital advertising campaigns
